In January, a team of Lady Liberty Academy parents and staff members will conduct a needs assessment with regard to compliance in providing equity and equality in the areas of Board governance, school and classroom practices, and employment and contract practices. We will then create a new three year Comprehensive Equity Plan (CEP) that will help to guide the school in maintaining compliance with all State laws and regulations. more...

December 17 2005

The Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Education has granted a five year renewal of Lady Liberty Academy's school charter with the following encouraging words:

"... Lady Liberty Academy Charter School successfully completed a rigourous review of its program and fiscal-related activities and academic performance. It is my pleasure, therefore, to inform you that I am renewing the charter for the Lady Liberty Academy Charter School for a five year term. This approval is based on the school's academic progress, the school's ongoing examination of its results to guide improvements and the commitment exhibited by the school's administration and board."
