The boys and girl basketball teams are required to keep a 2.3 percent grade point average throughout the school year. Student Athlete's are also required to uphold high Core Values and be model citizens for the school.

Both teams, the Boys and Girls, compete in two different leagues; The Newark charter School Athletic League and the Newark Public School League. The Girls team has reached the finals the last two years in the Charter School League. The Boys team has been the second runner up for the last two years in the Charter School League. We are proud that the boys team has reached the playoffs for 4 years in a row.

• 76% average or above in all classes
• 1's and 2's in all classes
• Excellent Behavior on and off the court
• Above average Attendance
